Interesting. Skidult is male but was very hateful, nasty, greedy/selfish and I would do a kind of freeze response in a horrible catch 22. If I called out Skidult (when a teen/young) he would complain to his disgusting BM and my DH would probably be pissed at me. 

I think the BM coached skid to cause problems in my household/my marriage as skid would say and do things that were wildly not age appropriate even when skid was single digits. I’m shocked my marriage survived but I’m far more tenacious than BM or skid or even my DH realize. I was determined to see it through for our bios and I’m glad I did. Skidult is off doing Skidult things and I have a don’t ask/don’t tell policy unless it will impact me, DH, our marriage or our bios. 

One thing is for absolute certain: Skidult can never live under this roof. My marriage would absolutely implode but I think adding another adult to a family home even if it’s a full bio can cause big problems in a marriage. I definitely try my best to put my marriage/our family first and so does my DH.
