What's Up

Before YSD27 even left for her "work exchange program," she was already complaining to DH that she is second guessing her choice to sign a contract for her new temporary “job.”  (I mentioned her new “job” in a previous post.) She hasn’t even left and she’s already setting herself up to quit. This girl-woman can’t keep a job for longer than 2 weeks. She also left a huge mess in our house that DH has promised to clean up.

Meanwhile, according to OSD29, a job she botched (for a close family member, no less) is the fault of everyone else, out of her control …  even though it was literally her job, not anyone else’s.

I understand how incompetent she is because at DH’s insistence, we once consulted with OSD on a job. I went over her quote and found several glaring errors in addition to her rude communication style. I refused to continue the process with her and told DH he could proceed with SD on his own if he chose to but I am out. DH thanked SD for her time but he did not use her service.

As usual OSD is making this all about herself. She is saying how she hopes this family member doesn’t think it’s poor widdle SD’s fault that they are encountering all kinds of problems with her plan.

LOL, buttering my popcorn.

Re: What's Up

It never stops.  These "victims" are at the mercy of a public that doesn't understand their unique qualities.  Sometimes it's bad luck or misunderstandings. It's never their fault for immaturity, incompetence or ignorance.

Re: What's Up

The silver lining is that hopefully this helps certain meddling do gooder relatives to see for themselves what it is like to deal with her for themselves. Certain people feel sorry for her or fall for her sob stories.

These people are exhausting!

I'm getting out my popcorn, too!

When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

If only people understood how special our skids are. Mine most certainly are too.

Not my fault. It’s not fair. You don’t understand.

It’s exhausting.

Re: What's Up

We all know how this is going to end Meera but you are right the silver lining is other people get burned by the SKID and can start to maybe see through the victim veneer. Watch carefully from the sidelines as it all unfolds.

Re: What's Up

No recent updates on how this all turned out but I am interested to hear what these family members have to say the next time that I see them
