Or she has moved back in once one of the female coven members (Gir's Auntie, etc). They all live within a 1-mile radius of each other tops approx 20 minutes away.

The farther away the better in my book! She's supposed to be engaged to Onslow Jr. And they are both huge so I don't know how they would manage living with somebody else.

How sad.  My DW's work husband (WH)/adult life BFF is experiencing an amplified version of this in his life with his family.  Work Husband and his DH are both very high-quality high-performance people who come from struggling family backgrounds.  This is likely part of why work husband and my bride are two peas in a pod and very close.  They met at work and collaborated when seconded to the State IG to participate in the investigation of a Medicaid fraud case. They ended up putting a fraudster in prison for 10yrs for embezzling $Millions in child medical care Medicaid dollars.  DW, WH, and WH's DH have very similar family backgrounds.  

They have a coffee morning video call once a month.  This AM was coffee morning. 

WH's brother is in the hospital intubated and not doing well.  He also has MRSA.  WH can't visit his brother in the hospital because their mother has an open wound port installed for her own medical treatment and WH is heavily involved in supporting and aiding their mother.  WH's SIL is begging for WH's mother to watch her/WH's brothers two very immature kids (10 & 16) while she works.  These kids cannot be left unsupervised, the home is a toxic waste dump, and WH's mom does not want to deal with any of it.  No one in the picture except WH drives.  WH told his mom that she can say no and that he cannot leave work to drive her back and forth to his brother's house to watch her GKs and if that is the mother's choice, she is going to have to Uber.  WH also told her that she is going to have to tell SIL no.

Brother is morbidly obese, has not done as his docs have advised for decades, and has now put himself on the emergency landing path to the cemetery.  His wife and kids do not have the ability to survive without him and DW's WH is approaching retirement and will not have the resources to float his SIL and the kids once he does retire.  He is guilt ridden over it all.

It is sad when people are hell bent on not being accountable for their own health and support in life.

WH and his DH moved their parents and extended families to where WH & DH live so they can more readily help and support them.  They do a commendable job of insulating themselves from much of the daily churn drama related to their close proximity extended family.  Though they do struggle with it due to the incessent never ending tragic stuff. 

I hope that you and DH have enough distance and insulation from the unfolding tragedy that is your SKid.
