still waiting for paternity results
DH decided to take a paternity test over a month ago now. Unfortunately since SS16 is nowhere to be seen we had to send in some non ideal dna samples and the first one came back unuseable. We sent the second one a week ago and the lab received it on Monday with a 10 business day turn around. I am not good with suspense. DH is taking the position that it won't change anything since SS16 hasnt come around so he doesnt think he ever will. He said if he turns out not to be his Dad he'll just stop reaching out to him.
I'm sure this is some sort of guard to keep himself grounded. I want to sue BM for dragging me through hell if it turns out SS16 is not DH's. The most compelling reason to believe he might not be is that SS16 is cleft chinned while both his parents and grandparents are smooth chinned.
What would you do if you found out that your teen stepchild wasnt your spouses kid?

I think I would let my DH handle it and tell him I'd support him, but I'd prefer to step away and detach from it all. What do you all do if you receive proof that he is his bio son?
I don't see how you could sue BM, but I guess you could tell her what you think if that would help with closure.

If he is his bio son, which is what we are of the belief, then we do nothing just accept the loss and let him and live happily ever after. Not much we can do.
Yes I'm sure I can't sue her, not in Canada anyway. But I'd like to.

That would be very interesting. Since my bride gave birth to the kid. Unless there was a swap in the hospital nursery. My SS also looks just like the Spermidiot.
Though if I were the SM married to a dad who had been defrauded by a cheating BM, I would make the total destruction of the BM my life's fondest hobby.
