He isn't coming home but he's not staying at BM's

So DH texted SS15 today to find out if he was coming home. SS15 said no, he was going to his little brother's Dad's house. When DH asked him why, he claimed he needed more time and that he hadn't seen his brother's dad in a long time. DH told SS15 that he didn't have his consent to go there during DH's parenting time. And DH said that if SS15 chose not to come home that he would be losing certain privileges reserved for members of the household. (ie. he's losing his room and he's losing rides). He also reminded SS15 that there is a consent order in place and it was created with his best interests in mind and it didn't expire just because he's a teen now.

SS15 read it but didn't respond. Likely waiting to hear what BM tells him to say; and sounds to me like she's busy with her "extracurriculars" at her house or why else would she ship SS15 to her babydaddy #2's house?

Is it wrong that I'm getting excited about packing up SS15's crap and giving his room to my DD5?

Oh and forget about SS15's birthday next Thursday. I booked a pedicure and the little kids are having a playdate at the local kids zone. If he stops by I doubt DH will even have a card for him. But that's up to him.

No, you are not wrong. AND you are so right in that SS is waiting to hear from BM on how to respond. Ugh. Enjoy your pedicure and the rest of your day on Thursday!
